PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
OBJECTIVE NO. 1: NO HARM TO PEOPLE AND NO DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR THE ENVIRONMENT
- Demonstrate leadership commitment at all levels to the development and implementation of HSE policies and expeditious resolution of SHE issues
- Maintain safety partnership program
- Produce and steward a project-specific HSE program and work management systems and ensure diligent implementation
- Meticulously identify risks to safety, health and environment during onshore and offshore activities
- Report all near misses
- Reinforce safe work practices
- Ensure subcontractors compliance with the project’s she requirements
- Ensure nobody gets hurt
OBJECTIVE NO. 2: COMPLETE THE PROJECT ON TIME, WITHIN APPROVED BUDGET AND TO SPECIFIED QUALITY LEVELS
- Ensure procedures and work instructions reflect best work practices from similar projects recently completed and other work performed in sites worldwide
- Conduct experience transfer mentoring and trainings
- Ensure compliance to specifications
- Design control and verifications, as well as minimization of errors (i.e. getting it right the first time)
- Verification plan to ensure technical and schedule compliance in order to maintain or exceed contract capped schedule
- Expedite response to change requests and track changes through the change request system
- Eliminate/minimize budget overruns on each contract by being forward-looking to identify techno-commercial issues that can lead to delays
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that the above objectives are being met
OBJECTIVE NO. 3: MAINTAIN HIGH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
- Maintain customer focused corporate & project organization
- Establish good communication/dialog/project issues resolution mechanism with clients
- Identify and inform clients foreseen progress impact issues together with proposed solutions well ahead of time
- Close liaison with clients’ team during design review/verification, project development and construction. The HFE team shall listen to and consider ideas from clients
- Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with clients through the project life and make conscious efforts to ensure that the project is a technical and economic success for both clients and HFE
OBJECTIVE NO. 4 – ACHIEVE AGREED LOCAL CONTENT
- Meet national content development objectives
- Develop host community labour force expertise to the level of others from outside the host communities
- Throughout the project execution look out for additional contribution to Nigerian content
